Kumpanya Stand-Up Nights is a series of live performances, spearheaded by comedian and trainer Eren Uslu, which aims to make Turkish stand-up comedy more visible and accessible in the Netherlands.

On these evenings, both seasoned comedians and newcomers take to the stage to entertain the audience. Sometimes you’ll be watching performances by professional comedians, whilst at other times you’ll be sharing in the excitement of a comedian stepping up to the microphone for the very first time. This variety ensures that every evening has its own unique atmosphere.

Kumpanya’s Stand-Up Nights are not just a series of shows, but also a community initiative that provides a platform for emerging comedians to develop their skills and gain stage experience. Participants from the stand-up workshops led by Eren Uslu also have the opportunity to take to the stage on specific evenings and give their first performances.

The stories, which span a wide range of topics from experiences of migration to everyday life, and from relationships to cultural differences, forge a direct and heartfelt connection with the audience.
